Divorce

A question yesterday in one of my Facebook groups:

“I have a question. When you’re interested in someone or vice versa and they’ve been divorced, is it ok to ask if the divorce was a biblical divorce?”

Please see my answer below to the above question.

Most divorces aren’t based on a biblical perspective sadly… I believe that when a person truly have the word of God planted within ones soul, then there is no room for divorce because a God fearing person abides by the word of God faithfully… No ones perfect, but with God at the head of a marriage it cannot fail because God will help them to work on their differences… When someone truly loves the Lord the worldly pleasures and fleshly desires are defeated… That’s why it’s important to meditate on the word of God 24/7… We are nothing without God… The devil will rip us apart the moment we decide to walk away from God. However, Remember that God will chastise the one whom he has called to fulfill his purpose on earth. Finally, a successful marriage cannot be achieved when only one partner is working overtime to make the marriage work. A successful marriage can only be achieved when a husband and wife works together as a team, and with God in the center of their marriage.
