You may not want to eat that!

When God created the earth it was good, and he was pleased. God made sure that Adam and Eve had everything necessary to sustain in life. They had fruits to eat, clean water to drink. They were even walking around naked and didn’t feel uncomfortable, until that day according to Genesis 2:17 when Eve convinced Adam to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. God told them that if they eat from that tree they will certainly die, and that’s exactly what happened. Human beings have been suffering and dying ever since because of Adam and Eve disobedience to God.

According Matthew 14:18 – 21 Jesus said, “Bring them here to me,” he said. 19 And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. 20 They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. 21 The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children. When Jesus walked the earth the food that people consumed at the time was not sprayed with pesticides and made with all sort of harmful chemicals, the animals were not injected with hormones, and so on. However, that’s not the case in today’s generation.

We cumsume whatever is used to make, grow or raise whatever it is that we consume. My grandparents generation lived up in their 90’s and some in their 100’s. This generation is dying younger than ever. People and children are dying from all sorts of diseases, kids are diabetic, have arthritis, cancer, and every other diseases that’s common to adulthood. I believe that this is a result of the food that we consume. Yesterday I read an article published by BBC news titled, “Nigeria has confiscated 2.5 tonnes of “plastic rice” smuggled into the country by unscrupulous businessmen, the customs service says.” Upon further investigating, custom officials say when they cooked up the rice it was too sticky – and it was then abundantly clear this was no ordinary batch.” “They’ve sent a sample to the laboratories to determine exactly what the “rice” is made of.” Finally, Investigations are under way to establish how much of the contraband has already been sold.”

We are living in some serious times, and  if God spares my life to live to see 2017, I vow to control and balance the things that can be controlled and balanced in my life. This will apply to my personal and professional life. I vow to implement a 360 degrees change of the food that I consume and how I take care of my body on a daily basis. Thus says the word of God in Corinthians 6:19, “What? know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which you have of God, and you are not your own?”

Finish What You Start

There’s no use starting something if you’re not going to give it your best effort. Focus on your dreams, and don’t let anything of anyone distract you from achieving it. However, only share your dreams with people you can trust because many people are dream killers. Many people don’t want to see you succeed because they are not progressing. As stated in Ecclesiastes 9:11 (KJV) “I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. That’s right my dear friends endure till the end! The devil will try to make your dream/s seem pointless and unattainable, but according to Matthew 21:21, “Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.” To conclude, if you focus on your dreams, goals, vision ect., that day will come when according to 2 Timothy 4:7-8 (KJV) you too shall say: “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” Have a highly favored and blessed day, and remember to always put God first in all you do.

Divorce

A question yesterday in one of my Facebook groups:

“I have a question. When you’re interested in someone or vice versa and they’ve been divorced, is it ok to ask if the divorce was a biblical divorce?”

Please see my answer below to the above question.

Most divorces aren’t based on a biblical perspective sadly… I believe that when a person truly have the word of God planted within ones soul, then there is no room for divorce because a God fearing person abides by the word of God faithfully… No ones perfect, but with God at the head of a marriage it cannot fail because God will help them to work on their differences… When someone truly loves the Lord the worldly pleasures and fleshly desires are defeated… That’s why it’s important to meditate on the word of God 24/7… We are nothing without God… The devil will rip us apart the moment we decide to walk away from God. However, Remember that God will chastise the one whom he has called to fulfill his purpose on earth. Finally, a successful marriage cannot be achieved when only one partner is working overtime to make the marriage work. A successful marriage can only be achieved when a husband and wife works together as a team, and with God in the center of their marriage.
